My passion for events began at a very young age. Even as a child, I was always the first to plan and execute a birthday party, family celebration, or holiday event. Through the years, I have excelled in ensuring every detail from the menu to the invitations to the favors incorporate an overall brand message, leaving attendees with a night they'll never forget and the company with both new and enriched connections.
While most are intimidated by the simple mention of a tradeshow, I take the directing role head on and view it as an exciting challenge. My mission is to ensure every single attribute is thought of, accounted for, and executed. Tradeshows never turn out as planned but it's part of my personal philosophy to ensure everything looks perfect, even if it isn't. As a former boss once said, "If you need an elephant in a clown suit at midnight, Megan will be able to get you an elephant in a clown suit at midnight." My passion for events started early. Long before it was a career, I was the one planning birthday parties, family celebrations, and holiday gatherings—thinking through the details, the flow, and how it all came together to create an experience people remembered. That instinct never left; it simply evolved into a professional practice grounded in strategy, storytelling, and execution. Over the past 20+ years, I’ve led tradeshows, conferences, and live experiences across industries, spanning in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats. My work goes far beyond logistics. I approach events as integrated brand moments—aligning environment, content, messaging, and experience so every touchpoint supports a clear story and purpose. From booth design and run-of-show planning to content development, editorial direction, and on-site or on-screen execution, I ensure events work as cohesive, intentional systems. While many find tradeshows overwhelming, I see them as complex, high-stakes puzzles—and genuinely enjoy solving them. Events rarely unfold exactly as planned, but thoughtful preparation creates room for flexibility. My goal is always the same: anticipate what can be anticipated, adapt quickly when things change, and make the final experience feel seamless to everyone else in the room (or on the screen). I’ve produced content for industry shows and conventions, led virtual and hybrid event pivots, managed speakers and stakeholders, and directed live productions where timing, clarity, and calm leadership mattered as much as creativity. As a former boss once put it, “If you need an elephant in a clown suit at midnight, Megan will get you an elephant in a clown suit at midnight.” The work below highlights events and experiences shaped by preparation, problem-solving, and a deep respect for both the audience and the brand behind it. |
